FORUM MISSION
The mission of the «GastroIslands» forum is to unlock the unique gastronomic potential of the region, turning «island cuisine» into a recognizable brand and a driver of tourism.
EVENT GOALS
- Position the island cuisine of the Sakhalin Region as a recognizable gastronomic brand reflecting the uniqueness and identity of the region.
- Create an international platform in the Sakhalin Region for the development of culinary arts and the exchange of professional competencies.
- Improve the service level of regional catering establishments to develop gastronomic tourism in the region.
- Establish the international public organization «Center for Gastronomic Culture of the Island Peoples of the World» headquartered in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
